Named 2011 Best Festival or Event in Oregon, The Oregon Jamboree is the Northwest’s premier country music and camping festival. Founded in 1992, this annual event is held on over 20 acres in scenic Sweet Home which includes the historic Weddle Covered Bridge and connecting Sankey Park. The three day event offers a full festival atmosphere on the lush fields of the main venue and a more intimate concert experience on the new second stage where Ames Creek meanders past the park and under the covered bridge to create a separate and more intimate ambiance in the 75+ year old park.
In addition to nationally renowned headline entertainment, this multi-day music event hosts 3000 RV and tent camping spots, food booths, beer & wine gardens, and a variety of other attractions. The festival draws followers from all over the United States as well as international visitors.
The Oregon Jamboree boasts over 800 festival volunteers that contribute their efforts to ensure a safe and fun experience for all. Produced by the non-profit Sweet Home Economic Development Group, the organization utilizes Jamboree proceeds to benefit economic development in the Sweet Home community.
